MAKI Gallery is pleased to announce its first-ever participation in Asia NOW, an art fair focused on contemporary art from Asia, with a joint presentation of works by Keisuke Tada and Anne Kagioka Rigoulet. Keisuke Tada (b. 1986 in Aichi, Japan) employs trompe l’oeil to create paintings that subvert ideas of authenticity by blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Anne Kagioka Rigoulet (b. 1987 in Kanagawa, Japan) harnesses the fluid energy of water to capture the ephemeral moment when a familiar scene transforms into an abstract vision.
